The Caribbean Film Series, is a quarterly series presented by Caribbean Film Academy, The Luminal Theater, and Third Horizon Film Festival, in partnership with BAM Film.

This series bring films by the best emerging talent from the Caribbean, showcasing Caribbean stories and cultures.

In 2019, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of the series with a 4-day festival. As Events Manager I produced five events for the festival:

1. An opening reception featuring a performance by the artist Nugyen Smith.

2. A panel discussion on Caribbean Cinema: Past, Present & Future

2. A panel discussion on Getting It Made: How Caribbean Filmmakers are Producing Independently

3. The official festival after-party: Ting-A-Ling-A-Ling

4. A Sunday morning Roti Brunch.

My responsibilities for each event ranged from securing venues and managing site setup/breakdown to negotiating vendor contracts and facilitating panelist travel /accommodations,
