Alysia is a creative project manager and producer with over 15 years of experience. Her strength lies in her ability to coordinate staff and resources to execute with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. Known for being the ‘calm in the storm’, Alysia has the temperament and skillset to bring any creative project to fruition on-time and on-budget with minimal drama.

In her spare time Alysia creates, curates and champions content that explores the intersectional experiences of the communities she inhabits. To that end, in 2008, she launched the online publication Rewind and Come Again. As editor, Alysia uses a variety of media to explore Caribbean / Caribbean-American culture and it’s impact on and manifestations in diaspora lives. In 2016 she partnered with the Caribbean Film Academy to found the Timehri Film Festival, an annual showcase of Guyanese & Caribbean film that celebrates and supports the growing Guyanese film community.
Alysia continues to seek new ways and platforms in which to explore, engage and celebrate the many facets of her identity, heritage and interests.
